Sony Plans to Release New Walkmans for 40th Anniversary

I know for some people reading that headline, they were probably asking, "What's a walkman." But many of remember those portable players. They were the business before we had iPods and music on our smart phones. We used Walkmans with our cassette tapes or favorite cd's with our headphones and bopped to the music as we walked, caught the bus or chilled. Well Sony is bringing the Walkman back. According to Gizmodo, Sony will celebrate the technological advancements for their 40th anniversary of the Walkman, with two new models of the Walkman. But hold on, because these aren't cheap at all. These rebooted Walkman will cost between $400 and $500. Oh and wait, these won't play cassettes, but there is a screensaver that looks like one to give you that nostalgic look. Considering there are smart phones, will you be trying to buy a Walkman.
