Jennifer Lopez's "Hustlers" Character Planning to Sue Over Movie

Of course Jennifer Lopez has the movies "Hustlers" that will be in theaters this week. The cast features women who portray strippers but basically learn to swindle their way with some of their clients. Well, a woman claims the filmmakers basically stole her story. Okay, so the movie was inspired by Samantha “Foxx” Barbash, who was a former strip club hostess. Barbash is 45-years-old and is currently on probation after pleading guilty to charges of conspiracy and assault, stemming from the antics that “Hustlers'” producers never secured the rights to, according to Page Six. She says J. Lo and movie producers never secured the rights to her life story and now she is considering suing the makers of the movie. Barbash's lawyer said the movie was based on "court records from the trial and a New York magazine interview of one of the co-defendants in the case against dancers at Scores. Although Samantha wasn’t a dancer at that time, we believe the movie and Jennifer Lopez’s character is based on her." We can't wait to see how this plays out. In the meantime, the movie looks like it's a good watch and it will hit theaters Sept. 13.
