Laurence Fishburne Will Produce A Black Teen Superhero Series For Marvel

Now we have all seen Laurence Fishburne do his acting for years. We have seen him do the drama. You remember "Boyz In Da Hood." Then of course, he did his thing in "Matrix" and even "John Wick," giving us some action. Plus, Laurence has been in the acting game for years. But now he is about to switch things up a little bit because he will producer a Marvel series about a black teen superhero. According to Rolling Out, Laurence will produce an animated series for the Disney Channel. Laurence will produce "Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur," which, he introduced during the Disney D23 Expo. Apparently Laurence is a huge comic book fan, because you get that sense of the animation being something like a comic. The series will follow 13-year-old genius Lunella Lafayette and her T-Rex and they protect New York's Lower East Side.
