Jay-Z is definitely making major moves in the entertainment industry. He is combining his music with activism and sports. According to The New York Times, Jay has teamed with the NFL for something big. His Roc Nation has partnered with the NFL will work together on the league's Inspire Change activism campaign. Plus, Jay will be the league's "live music entertainment strategist." That means Jay will basically serve as a consultant on entertainment which will also include the Super Bowl halftime show. This is major, especially for an African-American man in the rap game. But hopefully this partnership will definitely work out considering how he basically dissed the NFL's Super Bowl by turning it down in "APESH*T" and showing solidarity with Colin Kaepernick. But with the NFL's Inspire Change initiative, it's good to see the NFL is taking a better approach to things and with Jay working with the Reform initiative with Meek Mill, this sounds like it could definitely work out.
