It's so good to see the big timers teaming up to work together. Will Smith and Jay Z have partnered with ABC to tell stories of Emmett Till and others, through the eyes of women. They will be bringing one of the most important stories of the civil rights era to ABC with a new anthology series. According to Vulture, Will and Jay have created Women of the Movement series, which, will detail the civil rights movement "as told by the women behind it." And one of the stories will spotlight MamieTill-Mobley the mother of Emmett Till, who was murdered by a lynch mob after he reportedly whistled at a white woman in 1955. Jay and Will were trying to work on a Till project back in 2015 when they were in talks with HBO for a mini-series, but it stalled. It's good to see the Women of the Movement be birthed from their original idea.
