Big Sean Works with Lena Waithe For BET Series "Twenties"

Big Sean is about to get his acting debut. Lena Waithe tapped the actor for her new BET series, "Twenties." It seems like Big Sean is about to have a nice season since he's jumping back into his music and now the acting. So how did Lena get Big Sean involved? During a concert, he shouted out Lena and that's what stood out for her. According to Variety, Lena reached out to the rapper via social media and when they met up, everything was good to go. Big Sean will play a character named Tristan, who is nothing like Big Sean, which, he appreciates. Lena even said she didn't make Sean read for the character because she knew it was a good fit. The BET series, "Twenties" is a comedy series that is set to premiere in 2020. The show depicts a group of friends in their twenties trying to navigate careers, love and relationships, and life in general. By the way, while she is working on this, just know Lena is doing her thing because Showtime is bringing "The Chi" back and her movie, "Queen and Slim" will be hitting theaters soon.
