BET is About to Start Their Own Streaming Service

During the BET Awards show, when Tyler Perry was acknowledged with the Ultimate Icon Award, he made mention that he was excited to work with BET. I know people were probably like, "what does that mean?" Well BET is about to branch out and do their own thing for real, for real. You may have heard rumors about BET planning to launch their own streaming service. But Viacom did confirm that BET + is coming this fall, according to Hip Hop Wired, and yes, Tyler Perry is involved. So that's what Tyler meant when he said he can't wait to work on some things with BET. So what can subscribers get? Well, the service for BET + will include a "curated”" library of videos from the network as well as new online-only originals. But along with Tyler Perry working with the streaming service, will also be Will Packer. So this sounds like it will really be popping. As for prices, we're not too sure just, yet.
