Kanye West and Pusha T Hit With Lawsuit For Sampling Without Permission

It seems like Kanye West and Pusha T are in trouble. Of course Kanye worked on Pusha's album, Daytona, but now a song is in question. According to Times Daily, FAME Enterprises Inc. just hit the two with a lawsuit claiming Pusha's song, "Come Back Baby" used a sample from George Jackson's "I Can’t Do Without You," that came out back in 1972, without permission. You're probably thinking, why does it take so long for this lawsuits to happen. I was thinking the same. Well Jackson recorded the song at FAME before 1972, which makes it exempt from the Copyright Act of 1972, according to the filing. So with this lawsuit, FAME digs deep because they say Pusha's song contains 1 minute and 13 seconds of Jackson's song. They even believe Kanye is always sampling without permission and FAME wants a trial jury for the lawsuit.
