DJ Khaled Was So Mad His Album Wasn't #1, He Wants to Sue Billboard

IDJ Khaled isn't so happy. That man put some hard work into his recent album, "Father of Asahd." Even in the process of getting it complete, Khaled would make mention of the album via social media. Well the album has been released for a few weeks now, but not to his liking. DJ Khaled was aiming for number 1 on the Billboard charts and didn't get the spot. His album came in second to Tyler the Creator. Khaled is mad. According to Page Six, Khaled was allegedly prepping to sue Billboard for his unfair placement. He was mad he came in at number 2, when Billboard allegedly discounted downloads sold by the DJ as part of a “bundle deal” with an energy drink. So apparently Billboard had agreed it would count downloads from Khaled’s energy drink package, which sources in the artist’s camp say amounted to more than 100,000. Billboard later backtracked, disqualifying Khaled’s entire sales from the promotion, arguing there were “anomalies” in his figures. Page Six has exclusively learned that lawyers for Khaled have fired off a letter to Silvio Pietroluongo, SVP of charts and data development at Billboard. However, it seems like things worked out for Khaled after all, because the producer went to social media to post his album moving up to number 1 this week.
