If you grew up on hearing the song "Mind is Playing Tricks on Me," then you know that Geto Boys was one of hip hop's well-known groups. The Houston group that consisted of Scarface, Willie D and Bushwick Bill is now mourning the death of one of their own, Bushwick Bill. It was revealed not too long ago the rapper was battling with pancreatic cancer. According to TMZ, he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and was too ill to perform for a reunion with the group. It was reported he pulled out of the reunion, but he announced on Instagram the real reason why he couldn't perform. He has been in the hospital for a while because of his illness. He was undergoing intensive chemotherapy. It was reported early Sunday the rapper had died, when in fact, he hadn't passed, yet, and the family said he was fighting for his life when it was falsely reported. Around Sunday night, the rapper did pass and his reps confirmed it. Bushwick Bill's real name was Richard Shaw and plans for a memorial are underway.
