Nipsey Hussle's Sister and Baby's Mother Meet up In Court For Child Custody

After Nipsey Hussle's death, the rapper's sister was trying to get make sure Nipsey's daughter, Emani was well-taken care of. Samatha Smith said her brother took care of his daughter before he died and she filed to get guardianship of his daughter, since Samantha helped raised her. Samantha didn't think Emani's mom was capable of taking care of Emani and Samantha wants to make sure Emani has a stable home around her family. Initially, a judge denied Samantha's request for guardianship, apparently because Emani's mom didn't have information about the guardianship request. According to TMZ, Samantha and Nipsey's brother, Blacc Sam were in court and Emani's mom, Tanisha, was there and tears came down when she saw Emani. This was Tanisha's first time seeing her daughter in months, according to Tanisha. It must have been so emotional because the courtroom was cleared so Tanisha and Emani could have some time and a hearing has been pushed back until Friday for a final decision is to be made on custody and finances. It sounds like it's going to be a tough decision to make.
