\When the Flyers debuted their mascot, Gritty, everyone was confused. Like, what is Gritty? Well, since then, Gritty has been some of everywhere making his mark. But could television be Gritty's next big thing? Well according to Phillyvoice, Gritty recently won a Webby Award for the best sports-related social media account. Well on Tuesday, Saturday Night Live cast member and host of June's NHL Awards, Keenan Thompson wouldn't mind having Gritty on the late night comedy show. Keenan basically invited the Flyers mascot to appear on SNL. Will it happen? We will have to wait and see, but Gritty was definitely pleased to hear that much. And SNL tweeted the eyes emoji.
