In case you were still following the drama on Fox's Empire, then you may be upset to know that the drama will be ending. According to Deadline, Fox announced on Monday, the show will end its run after the upcoming season. It was noted that the series would continue, although Jussie Smollett's character wouldn't return for the 6th season, but there was an option for the actor to possibly return at a later time. Well, that will not be happening at all. Next year, the show will be canceled once the 6th season is over. And we hear it will be an event. All of this follows the news of Lee Daniels' musical drama, Star, was said to be cancelled after 3 seasons. Hopefully Jussie didn't leave a bad stain on Lee's shows. On top of that, switch up your television schedule because Empire move from Wednesday nights to its original Tuesday slot.
