Philly's Trocadero Theatre is Getting Ready to Close

It's about to be a sad time in Philly for a lot of local artists, bands and all around hang out spots. According to a few media outlets, a Philly staple, the Trocadero Theatre will be closing soon. According to Philly Magazine.com, the owner hasn't given a timeline, yet. So far, there are about 10 tickets event that are listed on the Troc's website. However, of those 10, one event has already been moved to another location. A promoter behind one of the shows said the Troc was closing and they have to find alternatives. From reading other sources, it seems like the Trocadero was in heavy competition with other venues similar to them such as World Cafe Live and the TLA. There is still no real reason as to why the venue is closing as of yet.
