Promoters Hit Lil Uzi Vert with a Lawsuit Over Breach of Contract

It looks like Lil Uzi Vert has found himself in a bit of trouble because he is facing a lawsuit. According to The Atlanta Journal Constitutional, promoters are suing him and want their money. The concert promoters are pissed Lil Uzi Vert stood them up and canceled a concert in Arizona. There was a show that was supposed to happen in October 2018 and Uzi didn't show up. According to the promoters, they signed an agreement for the show in August, but then when October happened, they postponed the show, but there was no new date. The lawsuit claims Uzi failed or refused to schedule another concert or reimburse the promoters for the money. According to an exhibit in the court file, Woods signed an agreement with the promoters Aug. 13 ahead of the Oct. 20 show, set for 11 p.m. at the Tucson Convention Center. It almost seems as if the Philly-born rapper is going through some things lately, because remember he even alluded to retiring.
