Well it is no secret of who the Super Bowl Champions are. The New England Patriots won the game against the L.A. Rams, 13-1. According to the New York Times , though the Patriots are taking home their 6th title in 18 seasons, they also had the lowest-scoring win in the Super Bowl, ever. But you know what, I'm sure the team doesn't care about that as long as they get that new ring. And of course, while I didn't hear many people talk about the game this weekend, we were curious about that halftime show. The halftime performance featured Maroon 5, who brought out Travis Scott and then Big Boi. While I was thrilled to see the rappers perform, I thought the transition and connection from Maroon 5 was a bit weird, but okay. By the way, while the big game was going on, there was a big party going on in New Orleans. The Saints fans are still pissed about that play that cost them the playoffs to the point they protested. Now this wasn't a regular protest with signs and police lines. According to TMZ , fans hit the New Orleans streets in a Mardi-Gras style they called #BoycottBowl. There were crowds marching down streets with the bands and all in their Saints gear. I'm quite sure many of these people didn't even care to watch the Super Bowl since they are still mad about the play that made them miss out on playing against the Patriots.
