Lil Wayne is Suing His Ex-Lawyer Over Extensive Fees

You're going to meet someone you think has your back and then they screw you over. Imagine how it is for entertainers. They are definitely going to go through people like that. Take for instance Lil Wayne. According to TMZ , Lil Wayne is coming for his ex-lawyer. Weezy is suing for more than $20 million because he says Ronald Sweeney charged him some hefty fees. Sweeney repped Wayne from 2005-2018 and apparently hit Wayne over the head for and charged Wayne 10 percent for every deal Sweeney helped Wayne close. The crazy thing is that Wayne says Sweeney didn't tell the rapper the industry standard is 5 percent. Wayne is trying to get that money back. Sweeney was trying to swindle Wayne even more when Sweeney thought he should get paid more from all profits from Wayne's label. What's even crazier to Wayne is that Sweeney hired another law firm to help the litigation with Cash Money over the "Carter V" deal, which, got the firm 23 percent of the Cash Money settlement. You see where we are going. Wayne wants all of his money back.
