You Can Use AirPods to Eavesdrop on People

I was thinking about grabbing some Apple AirPods but I can't stand the little buds in my ear. However, did you know you can use them to spy on people? Okay, basically, you can use them for the hearing impaired, but you know people will use them another way. According to the Daily Mail, there is a feature on your phone called Live Listen that was rolled out with iOS 12 to help the hearing impaired. It allows people to pick up sounds detected by the microphone on their iPhone and you can hear through your AirPods. So when your pods are connected, you'll see a symbol in the drop down menu. Now this sounds great and all, but you can actually pick up people's conversations that way as well. Yes, it's a way to eavesdrop, so definitely watch what you're saying if you see someone's phone just sitting near the bed, on their desk or at the kitchen table.
