Kevin Hart to Host the Oscars

Kevin Hart isn't slowing down in his career at all. But he recently got the new task to host a major show. Kevin has been tapped to be the host for the Oscars. Granted, this isn't his first hosting gig for an award show, but some people feel like they've really made an impact on people when they can host big shows such as the Oscars. According to The Jasmine Brand, Kevin will actually become the fourth African American to emcee the show, following Richard Pryor (1977, 1983), Whoopi Goldberg (1993, 1995, 1998, 2001) and Chris Rock (2005, 2016). Check out his post on social media where he said he had been asked for years if he would host the show.
