So apparently, it was true. Tekashi 6ix9ine's album was leaked over the weekend, even though he made the announcement that the album would be pushed back, since he is currently being charged with racketeering. Well since that leak, Tekashi it seems like the rapper decided to release Dummy Boy on Tuesday, after all of that. According to TMZ, he had a distribution mishap because the album was originally set for distribution through Caroline and Capitol Music Group. However, he cut a last minute deal with Create Music Group to release the album. Apparently there was a disagreement after the album leaked online, between Caroline and Capitol Music Group. Sources say he went with Create because the two have a longstanding relationship. Create is 6ix9ine's main music publisher, but it's the first time he's using their distribution arm. Meanwhile, the rapper is locked up, hoping to get out soon, so we will see if his album release will change anything for Tekashi.
