People are gearing up for Meek Mill's "Championships" album that will be released on Nov. 30. He has done a lot prior to the album. Of course he performed at Powerhouse and myself, Roxy Romeo and TeeRoy had a chance to chop it up with him. We asked him about how it felt to be the new face of criminal reform and so much more. But he is letting the world in on his experience with the system. He penned an open letter in the New York Times, called Meek Mill: Prisoners Need a New Set of Rights. He talks about the need in creating criminal reform. But he also had a chance to speak with Ellen Degeneres and even played ping pong with her. He explained that he even watched Ellen while he was locked up and even gave her the history of himself being locked up.
