It's always so dope to find out about new artists but have you ever known much about the people who help them? Well Spotify has partnered with Sprite to do original video content with their new Hip Hop inspired series called The Break, according to Hip Hop Wired. On top of that, Spotify also launched a 6-episode series called Sprite Breakthroughs that will actually spotlight the people behind the artists. The Break series will explore the economy of Hip-Hop, addressing the impact of technological and social change within the music industry and the resulting ways Hip-Hop artists get their big break, via Spotify. As far as Sprite Breakthroughs, you can actually check out Philly artist, Tierra Whack, talking about how important her team and crew has been to her. Tierra even shout outs Kenete Simms who serves as her Creative Manager and mentor in the episode for allowing her to record for free in his studio allowing her to experiment with her sound. That episode is already out on Spotify.
