Michael B. Jordan Could Be First Black Superman Since Henry Cavill is Out

Actor Henry Cavill was the most recent actor to play Superman, but it looks like he is already leaving the franchise. It was announced by The Hollywood Reported that Henry could be hanging up the cape because he wanted to make a cameo in the Shazam movie but couldn't because of scheduling conflicts. Henry has starred as Superman since 2013, but we also hear that as he may be done with the role, the role may be handed to Michael B. Jordan, who could become the first black Superman. First off, you already know plenty of comic book nerds will be all in their feelings if that happens, while some of us will be proud. Even though Michael B. Jordan has already starred in a Marvel movie as Killmonger (Black Panther), his character did die. According to The Jasmine Brand, DC Films and Warner Brothers have been in talks for the next superhero and are eyeing Michael. But it would probably be a while since the focus is going to be on a Supergirl movie. If chosen, this wouldn't be Michael's first superhero role because he was also part of the Marvel's Fantastic Four.
