BlacKkKlansman Soars High in the Box Office

Spike Lee and Jordan Peel have created another hit movie. If you haven't seen "BlacKkKlansman" yet, that is simply because tickets have been selling out! The new movie debuted with 10.8 million dollars on its opening weekend, according to Hot New Hip Hop. The film is a true story about the American hero Ron Stallworth played by Denzel Washington's son, John David Washington. Stallworth was the first African American detective to serve in the Colorado Springs Department. His mission was to infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan. Stallworth and another colleague Flip Zimmerman, played by Adam Driver, team up for the undercover investigation of a lifetime. It's definitely a movie on my list to check out. And speaking of John David Washington, did you see the premiere of Ballers on HBO last night? Yes, that's him, too!
