Ving Rhames Said He Was Held at Gunpoint By Cops At His Home

Forget driving or walking while black, you can't get in your home while black. Actor Ving Rhames said cops were called and held him at gunpoint at his own home. Well, it happened two years ago, but clearly it is still on his mind. According to Page Six, Ving said he opened his front door to be met with a red dot at his forehead. He said the neighbor called 911 reporting there was a "large black man" breaking into the house. When one of the officers realized it was Ving, because their sons played football together, they apologized. The cops said they got the call from a female neighbor but when she was approached, she said she didn't make the call. But it makes you wonder, if this man wasn't a famous actor, how would police have responded? The crazy thing is Ving said, "My problem is, and I said this to them, what if it was my son and he had a video game remote or something and you thought it was a gun?” Ving currently reprised his role in Mission Impossible: Fallout.
