Man Sues Rick Ross Over His Use of "Maybach Music"

People know they can reach when it comes down to suing someone. Remember when Rick Ross tried to sue the group LMFAO over the use of "Everyday I'm Hustlin'" when the group's song used "everyday I'm shuffling"? Well this is kind of one of those cases. According to TMZ, a man is suing Rick Ross over the rapper's use of "Maybach Music." That sounds simple, right? Well the guy, Ishaq R. Muhammad, known as Young Muhammad, claims he used a catchphrase "Caprice Music." So he is coming for Rick Ross for ripping off his marketing strategy with the catchphrase "Maybach Music." Muhammad claims Ross was featured on "Caprice Music" back in 2007 and that's where the rapper got the idea to use "Maybach Music" in most of his song. But it's a small claims court type of thing, because Muhammad is suing for $9,999 of intellectual property and he's suing Roc Nation for endorsing "Maybach Music."
