Designer, Kate Spade, Found Dead At Home

Yesterday, I mentioned that the world lost a talented fashion designer. Throughout the day, we learned more of what happened to Kate Spade, who was known for her handbags and clothes. She was found dead in her home. According to TMZ, a housekeeper found Kate in her bedroom. Kate hanged herself with a scarf on the doorknob of her door. She did leave a suicide note to her 13-year-old daughter. It was reported Kate was extremely depressed because her husband wanted a divorce. She had been married to her college sweetheart, Andy, who helped her start the Kate Spade handbag line, since 1994. Andy and Kate were living separately, but he lived nearby. In her not to her daughter, she explained it wasn't her daughter's fault, but "ask daddy." Depression is real and now her daughter is without a mother. Get help, people, get help.
