Diddy Makes $21 Million Painting Purchase

Diddy is around here making investment purchases, well, at least we think. According to The Jasmine Brand, Diddy just made a $21.1 million painting purchase. He has been revealed as the winning bidder during a Sotherby's Contemporary Art Evening Auction in New York. Now that's a major purchase. So what's so special about the artwork? The art was done by Kerry James Marshall whose piece is called "Past Times" is commentary of the black experience and is the most expensive piece by a living black artist to be sold to a buyer. But was it a good investment for the mogul? Come on, we know Diddy does smart things with his money. Just look at his brands!
