Musician Says Tank Stole His Music

Have you heard Tank's latest album, Savage? Well there is a music producer who is pissed at Tank about a particular song. Kenny Marshall filed a federal lawsuit against Tank, J. Valentine and Atlantic Records over the song "Only One," according to The Jasmine Brand. Marshall, who is a guitarist, producer and a member of the recording academy, claims Tank uses portions of his original song "Only One" saying Tank copied key elements of the song, including the theme. Marshall has an instructional YouTube channel with original music that he has copyrighted. Marshall said no one asked for permission to use his work and he hasn't been paid for it.  Marshall wants $150k in damages per infringement and attorney fees and he wants an injunction against Tank to stop profiting off the song.
