North and South Korea End Years of War

You know the states have it bad with the current president, when North and South Korea have decided to become allies. According to CNN, North and South Korea have made peace and pledged to end the Korean War that has been going for 65 years. The leaders had a day-long summit where South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korean President Kim Jong Un talked for more than 30 minutes. They signed the Panmunjon Declaration for Peace, Prosperity and Unification on the Korean Peninsula, which commits the countries to a nuclear-free peninsula. And apparently, both of the men crossed the military demarcation line, which separates the countries, and some people were shocked because that wasn't planned when Moon stepped into North Korea.
