It's so sad to hear when HBCU's have taken students' educational funds and go on sprees. Basically, that's what happened at Howard University. According to The Jasmine Brand, last year, about 6 employees were fired after an internal investigation found the financial aid office misappropriated university-based grants to some university employees. The investigation was conducted in 2016. Not good at all. The employees got grants, plus discounts on tuition that exceeded the cost of tuition. The employees stole more than $1 million intended for low-income students. Even though the employees have been fired, many students just found out about the news this week and they aren't happy. They protested in the Administration building, singing Rihanna's "Bitch Better Have My Money." Oh boy!
