Students March on the Capitol and Former Senator Speaks Out

This past weekend marked a big moment in a lot of students' lives. Many students took to the streets for the March for Our Lives rally on Saturday. The students, as well as parents and friends are tired of hearing about school shootings. The purpose of the rally was to get better gun control laws. But while the students were protesting you have people like Rick Santorum, a former Rep. U.S. Senator who made a controversial comments. This man said student survivors should stop asking law makers to solve gun crisis find other things to deal with school issues and recommended students learn CPR, according to TMZ. What the hell? Clearly he didn't have a better option to suggest. In the meantime, shout outs to all those who came out to rally with the students, including the celebrities who also believe there needs to be tighter gun laws.
