Dick's Sporting Goods Will No Longer Sell Assault-Style Guns

Yes! We are seeing a little bit of action being taken after the recent school shooting in Florida. One main topic has been about gun control. This year alone, there have been close to 20 school shootings. Aside from the President suggesting having trained teachers be able to carry guns, some people are against it. While the debate is still going on, there are some people taking acting. Kudos to Dick's Sporting Goods. The company is ending sales of assault-style rifles and banning the sale of guns to people younger than 21, according to ABC. Dick's did a temporary suspension of this after the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. It's good to see they are supporting a lot of the cause and trying to help. This will go into effect today.
