SEPTA Offers Free Rides to Eagles Parade

On Feb. 8, the city will be crowded and amped for the big Eagles Super Bowl Championship parade. According to NBC 10, who will also broadcast the parade, the parade will kick off at 11 a.m. on Broad Street and Pattison Ave and will head to the Art Museum, lasting about 2 hours. The in front of the Art Museum will be a formal celebration that will also last for 2 hours. So how will you get there? Well Philly.com says SEPTA will offer free rides on two subway lines, thanks to Independence Blue Cross. Trains on the Market-Frankford and Broad Street lines will run every five to seven minutes, starting at 5 a.m. Thursday. SEPTA will utilize as many rail cars as possible to provide added capacity for riders.
