Oprah, Sterling K. Brown Make Golden Globes History

posted by Cappuchino -

If you had a chance to check out the Golden Globes last night, then you would have noticed the solidarity among the actors and actresses as they all wore black for sexual harassment and #MeToo movement. But while there were beautiful people as well as many black actors, they all didn't win awards. However, history was made last night. Sterling K. Brown became the first black man to win the award for best performance by an actor in a TV series drama for This is Us. Plus, Oprah Winfrey became the first black woman to take home the Cecil B. DeMille Award, in which, she delivered an amazing speech talking about the injustices of being sexually harassed among the industry. I mean, can we get Oprah to run for president!
