FERG is addressing rumors that he's no longer a part of the A$AP Mob.

The Harlem native stopped by The Breakfast Club on Tuesday, November 12, to talk about his new album DAROLD. During the interview, Charlamagne Tha God brought up past comments by A$AP Illz, who claimed the "Work" rapper was not considered a member of the crew. FERG said he reached out Illz about the situation and got him to retract his statement. However, he made it clear that the entire group isn't as close as they used to be.

"We used to live together because we were on tour together," he said. "But as far as love, I love my brother to death."

FERG came up alongside A$AP Rocky after A$AP Illz, A$AP Bari and the late A$AP Yams formed the New York-based rap collective. As a group, they dropped three projects including their 2017 album Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy. As people within the group discovered their own success, members like Rocky and FERG began to shift their attention to other aspects of their lives and careers. FERG's been focused on releasing solo albums like Trap Lord, his Floor Seats series, and his latest project DAROLD while Rocky is consumed by his career and new family.

"I would say that me and Rocky, we talk every now and then," FERG explained. "I always check on his well-being, but we so busy just doing our own thing. He got two kids and he's making music and got his career. This is exactly going the way we wanted it to go. I got my land over here, you got your island over here. We big pillars and then when we come together it gets crazy."

Even though he doesn't miss hanging around with his old crew, it's still A$AP for life. FERG said he's still cool with Illz and Bari no matter what the circumstances are. Watch the entire interview below.
