Jay-Z Avoids Having to Pay Perfume Company in Lawsuit

Jay-Z scores a win. So back in 2016, Parlux, a perfume company, sued Jay in 2016 for $68 million. They claim Jay and his company S. Carter Enterprises LLC broke their agreement when he failed to show up for the 2014 Gold Jay Z launch at Macy’s. They claim it was a breach of contract as well when he failed to make promotional spots on “Good Morning America” and in Women’s Wear Daily. But then there was a countersuit. Jay fired a countersuit claiming he is still owed $2.7 million by Parlux in the deal. But Jay doesn't have to pay up in the case, according to New York Post. The jury found that damages shouldn’t be paid on either side of the dispute between Jay or Parlux over that breach of contract to promote his cologne. So will we see another scent with Jay's name on it after this?
