Mark Zuckerberg Rebrands Facebook with New Name and Logo

No more "thumbs up" when you think of Facebook. Of course, we all know that little picture of the thumbs up that represented Facebook. The social media outlet has been around for quite some time now, even having controversial moments. But the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg has decided to rebrand his popular brand. So Facebook, as we once knew it, is now called Meta, according to Hip Hop Wired. Definitely not the same ring. Mark made the announcement on October 28. During his announcement, he said, “We are a company that builds technology to connect," and added "Together, we can finally put people at the center of our technology. And together, we can unlock a massively bigger creator economy." He said overtime he hopes the company is seen as a metaverse company. When you go to meta.com, you will even get the breakdown of the company's goal and changes. And don't panic, that Facebook app is still a thing. You can still hop on Facebook to connect with your friends. The name change will not change the company’s structure, but it will change how financial results are shared. And Instagram is still there, too. Each company will now fall under the Meta umbrella from now on.
