Wendy Williams Gets Backlash After Speaking About Slain Delaware TikTok Man

We all know Wendy Williams can be harsh and straightforward with people. However, recently, she is getting some backlash with the way she handled one of her topics on her talk show. Last week a 19-year-old Wilmington man was murdered. His name was Matima "Swavy" Miller and was also a TikTok star, with followers watching him dance and more. Miller and Wendy added his story into her Hot Topics. However, it was the way she handled the story, which was a bit trifling. She basically introduced him by saying, "I have no idea who this person is [and] neither does one person in this building." But then she goes on to compare social media followers to her own and this was all before she said what happened to the young man. People said it was just an ugly situation to way she spoke of Swavy and mean. According to TMZ, Swavy's mom and brother said Wendy owes the family an apology for the way she spoke about the young man. Swavy's mom told TMZ the family felt disrespected with the way Wendy spoke of her son. And when you think about it, Wendy should have been a little more compassionate with this story, because she also has a son around the same age.
