T-Pain is a pretty well-known artist. He has worked with several people over the years, however, he never really worked with Nicki Minaj. In a recent interview, Nicki basically curbed T-Pain back in 2007. He spoke about it on the 85 South Show, saying he reached out to her for a quick verse. T-Pain said Nicki told him, "Hey, I’m an artist too, and I’m working on my shit, so ya know, baby chill." He said there was no hate with the way she said things, but he was a bit hurt. When Nicki caught wind of that memory she basically apologized and may have left it open for some potential work with T-Pain in the near future. Plus she gave praises to T-Pain as well. Nicki hopped on The Shade Room with her comments saying she didn't remember that but it sounds like something she'd say. She posted, "omg what was I thinking? He was already a rlly big artist. I was still underground. Chileeeeee I used to b buggin yo I was under so much pressure to deliver." Nicki added, My bad babe, all love. I have nthn but respect for your talent. and thank you & Kanye for clearing ‘Go Hard’ for Beam Me Up Scotty last month." Let's see if the two will speak and work together soon.
