After a year of recorded performances for a lot of shows people use to attend, live audiences are what's happening again with live shows. Wawa Welcome America is back this year but instead of taking place on the Parkway this year, the big show with performances will happen at the Mann Center. The announcement was made this week and headliners for the show will be Bebe Rhexa and FloRida. But this year, the festivities will last for about 16 days with a focus on Black history and multicultural education. On top of that, the events leading up to the July 4th festivities, will kick off on Juneteenth at the African American Museum that will host an outdoor celebration and offer free admission. There will be several museums around that will also offer free admission. As for the fireworks, you can definitely expect to see the display on the Parkway for that. No virtual celebration this year!
