J. Cole Leaves African Basketball League

And just like that, J. Cole is out of the basketball league. He signed up to play with an African league and although he faced some criticism from a few other ball players, who didn't think it was cool to grab a job that others work for, Cole is out. Cole was playing for the Rwandan Patriots and when he had his debut on the court, I remember reading that he'd only signed on to play 3-6 games with the team. That's a bit odd. But according to ESPN, the rapper has completed his contractual obligation with the team. A source said he departed from Rwanda because of a "family obligation." As far as a professional record, J. Cole had 5 points, 3 assists and 5 rebounds in 45 minutes of three preliminary games. Also, before leaving the team, there was a video of J. Cole hooking up the team with new gear, too. Hey, that was a great parting gift. And on top of that, he can promote his music now.
