The Weeknd, Pop Smoke, DaBaby, Doja Cat Win at the Billboard Awards

The Billboard Awards went down on Sunday and I definitely missed it. However, there were some pretty decent wins. Although The Weeknd was snubbed at the Grammys, which caused him to boycott the show, he won the most awards. According to Billboard, The Weeknd picked up 10 awards that included Top Male Artist, Top R&B Artist and Top Male R&B Artist. Pop Smoke was also blessed with 5 awards, which were accepted by his mother. Pop's awards included Top New Artist, Top Rap Artist and Top Male Artist. Now of course, some of the categories will make you scratch your head about some of the winners, for instance, Doja Cat won for Top Female R&B Artist, although she comes off as more pop. Megan The Stallion picked up Top Rap Female Artist and DaBaby won Top Rap Song for "Rockstar" as well as Top Streaming Song. By the way, did you check out Drake and his son Adonis who came on the stage with him as he accepted his Artist of The Decade Award? And kudos to Trae The Truth for receiving the Billboard Change Maker Award. Of course there were more winners but you check out the full list on Billboard.
