DJ Quik said to put some respect on his name. He went on Instagram Live to show a royalty check from Death Row. While you can't really see how much it was for, Quik wasn't happy about the amount. He went to burn the check on IG live, on his grill. He basically went off on Death Row saying how he felt disrespected. In the video, he says, "I’m not so happy, I’m real offended by this Death Row check and this amount. As much work as I did for these sons of b*tches, I just feel like the respect factor is just crazy. There is none." He then goes on to mentioning all of the artists and work he's done for them saying he wants his credit. He even mentioned Kendrick Lamar, but said he is cool with TDE. He mentioned 50 Cent, Nelly and more. He said he wants his credit for all of the production he has done. Quik said he is tired of being the underdog.
