Warning: No Kids or Pets Allowed on the Peloton Treadmill

Some things are meant for the response of "duh." The Peloton business seemed to grow more and more during the pandemic. I know several people who decided to get the Peloton bike, but of course, the brand isn't just sticking to the bike. There is also a treadmill. But if you've never been on a treadmill, it can look a little tricky and dangerous and for some, it is. According to TMZ, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has come out strongly against Peloton and its Tread+ treadmill urging people not to use it. They say the machine is dangerous to kids and pets, speaking of a report of child death and many reported instances of small kids and pets getting sucked under the back roller of the conveyer belt. Basically, if you have a Peloton treadmill, they say to unplug it when not in use and advises children under 16 should not use their Tread+ machine, saying it's safe to use in the homes and has safety instructions.
