Nike Is Suing the Company Behind Lil Nas X's "Satan" Sneakers

Lil Nas X's limited edition Nike Air Max 97 Satan shoes went on sale on Monday. However, Nike let it be known straight up, they had nothing to do with the sneakers. They didn't not collaborated with Lil Nas X, nor did they collab with the company who released them, MSCHF. The shoes, which allegedly claims to have a drop of human blood in the sole's bubble, made many people upset and questioning Nike. But Nike said they didn't approve of this and now that company better lawyer up because Nike is coming for MSCHF. According to TMZ, Nike is suing for trademark infringement because they believe MSCHF tricking consumers into thinking it approved the Satan-themed shoes. Nike claims that company buys the shoes from Nike, then the artists it works with make their own creative modifications before selling them at a higher price. Nike wants a judge to block all sales of that shoe. And once again, Lil Nas is trolling online because he posted a meme in response to the lawsuit.
