Snoop Dogg, LaLa Anthony and More Join Starz for New Series

LaLa Anthony's character may have gotten killed off of Starz's Power, but she went on and had a gig on Showtime's The Chi. Well it looks like she is coming back to Starz for a new series. According to Deadline, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson will executive produce another series for Starz, called "Black Mafia Family." So far, cast members tapped for the series include LaLa Anthony, as well as Snoop Dogg. And we hear Snoop will have a spiritually themed role on the Detroit-set series. Also, if you watched Empire, Serayah will also be added to the cast as a recurring role. The show will be based on the true life of Detroit's Demetrius "Big Meech" Flenory and Terry "Southwest T" Flenory drug trade sway that exploded and turned ugly in the late 1980’s. LaLa will play "Markaisha Taylor, the wife of a flamboyant drug dealer that Meech and Terry befriend and Snoop will play a spirtual advisor of sorts, named Pastor Swift. This sounds like a another big one from 50 Cent!
