Swizz Beatz and Timbaland Sell Verzuz To Triller and Become Shareholders

Swizz Beatz and Timbaland have promised their Verzuz fans that their series will remain free. But because it will remain free doesn't mean they won't make their money behind it. They have just sold Verzuz to a new platform, Triller. That means with this new deal, it will end a recent partnership between the beat-battle live streaming project and Apple Music. Now I'm sad because that's how I've been watching it. However, the guys aren't just giving up on their baby. According to The Rolling Stone, Swizz and Timbaland will also join the Triller Verzuz management team and are now shareholders following the acquisition. But what's even more dope, is that they announced they will give a part of their equity to all of the performers who took park in the Verzuz live streams. Verzuz's Instagram even had the announcement saying with this new deal, it will still stream on Instagram as well as Triller and we can look forward to more big things from Verzuz like "More battles AND we look forward to further expanding into sports, comedy, and live events."
