Donald Glover Goes From FX To Amazon with a Deal

I don't know about anyone else, but I am sitting here waiting for Donald Glover to hit us with the 3rd season of FX's Atlanta. His little break has been more than a little now. But we heard he is filming both season 3 and 4 this year. But that may be it for FX and Donald Glover after the season airs. The Hollywood Reporter said Glover has ended his deal with FX for an exclusive deal with Amazon. We hear it's a multiple-year, eight-figure overall deal with Amazon. Donald is taking his brother, Stephen, who also wrote and produced Atlanta, with him to Amazon. On top of that deal, we hear he is set to be getting a content channel on Prime Video and sources even say Malia Obama has joined the writing staff for one of Glover's first projects at Amazon. By the way, this all comes on the heels of the announcement that he will star in a remake of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" for Amazon that originally starred Brad Pitt and Anjelina Joilie. Kudos to the move.
