Arizona Woman Finds Rattlesnake Guarding Her Food Delivery! More Here.

A woman in Arizona was surprised to find her delivered food surrounded by a Rattlesnake. The western diamondback rattlesnake according to Nationalgeographics.com can accurately strike at up to one-third their body length. Diamondback venom is a potent hemotoxin that kills red blood cells and causes tissue damage. Bites are extremely painful and can be fatal to humans. However, antivenin is widely available throughout the snake's range, and bites rarely result in death. Needless to say, she did not attempt to resolve this issue on her own.

She reached out to the reptile relocation company to have the snake removed. They believe that the snake froze stretched out by her bag of food! Thankfully, no one was injured during the snake removal. Note to self, when in Arizona always be cautious when ordering food, you never know !
